Ocalenie in Lomza
Description
The Ocalenie Foundation supports people with migration and refugee experience in building a new life in Poland.
The Ocalenie Foundation has been working on intercultural dialog and building an open society since 2000. It strives to ensure that everyone can live with dignity and respect for their rights.
Our actions:
We help foreigners: we run the Center for Assistance to Foreigners in Warsaw, Łódź and Łomża, a community center for refugee children in Łomża, teach Polish free of charge, conduct adaptation and integration programs, look for rooms and apartments.
We educate the public: we hold seminars on refugee issues, anti-discrimination and integration, attract volunteers, organize integration events and take part in public debates.
We cooperate with schools, universities, public institutions, companies and international organizations.
